Selecting a Bike

  Been doing a lot of research on possible bikes for the trip.  Once I am back in the States I will try-out a few bikes to find the right match for me, but right now the Surly Long Haul Trucker is where I am leaning.  It is a sold touring bike that can carry a lot of weight.  Here is what one looks like fully loaded:
